How a 3 in 1 MagSafe charging station works
The phone pad has a ring of magnets that aligns the iPhone's charging coil with the station's coil, so charging starts the moment the phone touches it and doesn't drift overnight. The watch puck and AirPods pad share the same 18W supply. RYND stations add over-current, over-voltage, overheat and foreign-object protection and keep the surface below about 104°F while charging.
