Charging troubleshooting

The light flashes

Lift the phone and look at the pad: a key, a coin or a metal card stops the charger on purpose. Put the phone back on the centre of the magnet.

Charging is slow

Use the 18W adapter that came in the box. Laptop and TV USB ports give a fraction of the power.

The watch doesn't start

Take off metal links or clasps touching the puck and set the watch face up, flat on the puck.

Earbuds don't charge

Only earbuds in a wireless charging case charge on the pad; a wired-only case needs its cable.

The base feels warm

That's expected. Above about 104°F the charger slows itself down and carries on.
